Task 4
Clark’s Only Adventure

1. INT/EXT. LIVING ROOM. MIDDAY 1
Jack runs through the front door slamming it behind him. Red is sitting on the couch watching TV he looks towards Jack confused about his entrance. Jack catches his breath then tells red what has just happened.
JACK
You wouldn’t believe what I have. It is the only known time machine in existence.
RED
Did you steal it?
JACK
That’s not the point. You and I are set for life.
RED
What do you mean?
JACK
With this time machine I’m will travel to the future and when I and I’ll steal a recent invention.
RED
Why?
JACK
To get rich, we will bring back a flying car or something and claim it’s our invention.
RED
Why don’t we travel to like the 60’s and invent the IPod?
JACK
It doesn’t work like that we can’t change the past but we can change our present.
RED
Sounds like a one man job
JACK
No I’ll need your help, but this time machine can only take one person at a time so I’ll have to freeze you in this cryogenic freezer.
RED
Is that stolen too?
2. INT. LIVING ROOM. MIDDAY 2
A knock comes from the door Jack and Red at the same time look towards the door. Two more knocks are herd neither of them knows who it is.
JACK
(Whisper)
Quick get in
Jack shoves Red into the cryogenic freezer.
RED
But how am I-
Red is frozen before he could finish his sentence. More knocks come from the door, Jack sneaks past the door trying not to make a noise.
RANDOM POLICE
Open up it’s the police we know you’re in there!
Jack quickly gets into a machine which will put on his suit for him which will let him travel through time. When the machine open large amount of smoke blows outs slowly fading away and revealing what jack looks like with the suit on.
3. INT. LIVING ROOM. MIDDAY 3
JACK
Ok time machines do your thing.
Jack pushes the button activating the time machine, the time machine starts to glow he then put it into his suit. The room begins to glow from the light from the time machine. Then Jack disappears leaving an empty room. Jack reappears in the room but in the future.
JACK
Is this the same house?
The room has clearly changed for the worse, there is wreckage everywhere. Jack then see a little boy crouching in the corner.
JACK
Hey there little guy.
The boy then quickly jump at him trying to bite his neck, But jack was too strong and throws him out a window. He then noticed that the time machine was scratched, damaged beyond repair. He walk outside to where the Red was frozen he pushed the unfreeze button. It said please wait but he saw a swarm of zombie coming at him so picked up a nearby gun and got ready for action. This begins ROUND 1 which will be viewed like a videogame meteor which is bird’s eye view.
4. Ext. OUTSIDE HOUSE. SUNSET 4
Round 1 ends and the zombies seem to disappear, the cryogenic freezer is done unfreezing. Red gets out.
RED
Going to get back? Hey who are you?
JACK
It’s me Jack.
RED
Oh, what’s going on?
JACK
A dog damn zombie apocalypse.
RED
Great why didn’t you leave me frozen?
JACK
Well I saw a spaceship over there and I couldn’t just leave you.
Jack points to the spaceship in the horizon.
RED
Oh ok.
JACK
Quick lets go.
They begin to run towards the spaceship and the see a second swarm of zombies. But Jack reveals that he has come prepared.
JACK
Here I put these in the freezer with you.
Jack throws Red a gun and they both prepare for ROUND 2. Round 2 will be a side on arcade-type of style where Jack and Red will run through this level shooting zombie.
5. EXT. OUTSIDE A BUILDING. EVENING 5
Round 2 ends and they stop in front of a building that is clearly blocking their way to the spaceship. The doors to the building are all lock but there is a vent which one of them can go and unlock all the doors.
JACK
Let me go I will do it.
RED
Ok you can do it if you want.
Jack moves forward when he gets inside he finds another swarm of zombies this begins ROUND 3. Round 3 will be in the third person view just behind Jack shoulder where he will fight his way through a horde of zombies.
6. INT.CREEPY BUILDINIG. NIGHT 6
Round 3 will end here and Jack will get to the controls and unlock the door. He see Red at the other end of the hallway.
JACK
Come on Red we’re almost there!
Red begins to run towards Jack but as he is making it there, he is attacked by a zombie and it take a bite out of him. Jack shots it but it is to late the damage is done.
JACK
Are you alright?
RED
Took a clean chunk out of me. You should go, you can still get off this rock.
JACK
I’m not leaving-
RED
Bye friend.
Red dies and Jack see another swarm of zombies blocking his way to the spaceship. His angry now, and plans to take out his anger on the zombies. This starts ROUND 4 FINAL ROUND where it will be first person view, through his eyes, were jack will unleash hell on the zombies that stand in his way of freedom.
7. Ext. AT THE SPACESHIP. NIGHT 7
Still in the first person view after the last round Jack will arrive at the Spaceship only to notice it’s smashed to bits. There is no way off the zombie infested planet, his trapped.
He hears noises and see zombie surrounding him. The view will change from first person view to third person, from the back of his head, and keep zooming out to show Jack surrounded by hundreds of zombies.

task 2
Clark’s only adventure
It will begin with jack rushing back home with the stolen time machine as he slams the door behind RED is sitting on the couch watching TV. After jack catches his breath he tells RED his plan, to travel to the future and steal his way to rich and fame. He tells him that he might need his help but the time machine can only take one person so he has dug a hole with a cryogenic freezer (which is also stolen) for RED to use. He then put on a protective suit (also stolen) so his not recognisable. After Red is frozen and jack put on his suit jack activates the time machine and travels 1055 years in the future. Jack wakes up and sees a little kid as he gets closer it attacks him he throughs it out a widow.
Before exiting the room jack find a gun which could come in handy, as he opens the door he finds RED still frozen. He presses the unfreeze button but as he wait for it to unfreeze a swarm of zombies come running at him. This starts the round 1 which will be a Birdseye view of jack protecting the cryogenic freezer by shooting zombies. After the round ends RED gets up, they both realises that the future did no longer have anyone to steal from and that zombies were very where. In the distance they see what looks like a spaceship, so they decide to use it to get off the planet. This will start round 2 which will be a side on view (similar to Donkey Kong) were Jack and RED will shoot their way towards the ship. They stop and hit a road block were jack volunteers to fix the problem, this will start round 3 were Jack is trying to get to a switch shooting zombies on the way. This will be in the third person point of view. Once Jack gets to the switch he waits while RED runs to him but RED then receives a fatal bite and dies. RED’s last words to Jack are to get off this planet, this starts round 4 in the first person point of view were jack shoots his way through zombies to get to the ship. When the round finishes and jack gets to the ship, he finds it is wreck beyond repair and his stuck with the zombies.
The End.
task 1
The title of my animation is currently “Professor Clark’s only adventure” it is about a scientist that leaves his family in 1955 to travel into the future to find a cure for cancer for his wife but when he get there planet earth is invested by zombies. I think this will work as a normal animation I plan most of the animation will be in first person view (you are looking trough characters eyes) similar to videogames. The story will begins with Jack Clark (main character) saying his good bye to his family and starting the time machine. Once he is in the future he will wake up confused by the wreckage and decay of the room his in. When he opens the door to go outside he finds more wreckage of old building and homes still on fire but the most disturbing part is the silence just the small crackles from burning wood. He looks down the road and sees someone he calls out but the person doesn’t answer. The person starts to run towards him and as it gets closer he notices there something wrong with person, jack begins to run but falls over then out of nowhere a person save jack by shooting it.
This person explains the situation and that there not people anymore and that there zombies.
I began to write this but didn’t like where it was going so I rewrote most of the animation.
I changed the title to “Clark’s only adventure” because now Jack Clark is no longer a scientist/professor he is now a criminal stole and cheated most of his way through life but his goal is to become rich and famous and his plan to achieve this is to go to the future steal and invention and bring it back his got (stole) his time machine and with the help of his best friend RED, a walking talking tomato, he believes it is inevitable. It will begin with jack arriving home with the stolen time machine, RED is sitting on the couch, he tells RED his plan and that he might need his help but the time machine can only take one person so he has dug a hole with a cryogenic freezer (which is also stolen) for RED to use. My animation will play out as four levels of a video game (once in the future) each level resembles a type videogame from old arcade to first person shooter.
